The first Mariinsky Theater Festival in China, jointly held in 2016 by Wu Promotion and the Mariinsky Theater, was undoubtedly a sensational cultural event for thousands of music and dance lovers. In October and November 2016, the Mariinsky Opera, the Mariinsky Ballet and the Mariinsky Theater Symphony Orchestra made a China tour in four cities, including Shanghai, Guangzhou, Tianjin and Harbin.
