2019 marks the 20th anniversary of Macao’s return to China and the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations between China and Portugal. Presented by Macao Cultural Affairs Bureau and the Tourism Office and organized by Wu Promotion, Macao Orchestra was present for the first time in Teatro Garcia de Resende, Pavilhão Centro de Portugal, CAE de Portalegre, and Panteão Nacional. They also participated in the world-famous Festival Internacional de Música de Marvão and Festival Todos in Lisbon. Handpicked programs with Macao flavor were performed in tribute to the friendship between China and Portugal in this special year and in celebration of the 35th anniversary of Macao Orchestra. The delicately-crafted performances by Macao Orchestra were greatly acclaimed by the audience. |
