From 21 to 30 July, Guangzhou Symphony Youth Orchestra (GSYO) has commemorated its first decade on tour with Wu Promotion, bringing their joy and talented young musicians to nearly 10.000 spectators at the Guangzhou Xinghai Concert Hall, Wuhan Qintai Concert Hall, Xi’an Concert Hall and Shanghai Symphony Hall. It has also meant a celebration to Wu Promotion that has arranged the 5th tour for this juvenile ensemble.

This meaningful journey was conducted by JING Huan (music director of GYSO), along with violinist Gao Can as soloist, who presented Richard Wagner’s Overture to The Mastersingers of Nuremberg, Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto in E minor, Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess, as well as several famous Chinese music works from LI Haiying, CHEN Yi and ZHOU Long.
