Vienna Philharmonic 2022 Asia Tour Announcement!

From 24 October to 5 November 2022, Vienna Philharmonic will start the 2022 Asian tour, visiting Hong Kong, Taipei, Kaohsiung and Seoul for nine performances in 13 days.

From 24 October to 5 November 2022, Vienna Philharmonic will start the 2022 Asian tour, visiting Hong Kong, Taipei, Kaohsiung and Seoul for nine performances in 13 days. The tour will be conducted by conductor Franz Welser-Möst and will feature works by Wagner, Brahms, Strauss and Dvořák.

The Vienna Philharmonic, the only major orchestra to have toured across continents without interruption in the three years since the epidemic, has provided a successful example of international performances from which the world has delighted from within such difficult times; In 2020 they presented seven concerts in Japan; 2021 brought them for ten concerts in Japan and Korea, as well as, this time coordinated through the efforts of Wu Promotion, two performances in Egypt, featuring the second visit of the orchestra to Egypt, 71 years after its first performance there in 1950.
