The Hungarian Budapest Festival Orchestra successfully embarked on their 2023 China tour from November 29th to December 7th, performing at the Xinghai Concert Hall, the Changsha Concert Hall, the Qintai Concert Hall, and the National Centre for the Performing Arts in the capital. The tour was conducted by Maestro Iván Fischer, accompanied by pianist Anna Vinnitskaya, delivering a wonderful performance of Rachmaninoff, Beethoven, and Schubert's pieces. In 5 concerts across 4 cities, nearly 7000 spectators shared an unforgettable musical experience. Many praised the performances as "the best of the year," "deeply moving," and "full of surprises." The orchestra expressed their utmost sincerity by returning to the stage for an encore performance of "Jasmine" in a grand chorus, as a gesture of gratitude to the Chinese audience.
