From 16 September to 21 October, the Comédie-Française will tour China with Molière's three-act comedy "Les Fourberies de Scapin". This work is one of the pinnacle achievements of Molière, portraying a masterpiece comedy where lovers ultimately unite. Directed by Denis Podalydès, the play premiered on 20 September 2017. Over the course of a month, the troupe will perform at the Shanghai Great Theater of China, Wuzhen Grand Theatre, Shenzhen Pingshan Performing Arts Center, and Suzhou Cultural and Arts Centre, concluding the tour in Beijing. |
