In January, a warm current of art swept across the globe! We kicked off 2026 with more than 30 spectacular cross-city and cross-border performances, and one of the most dazzling highlights among them was undoubtedly the world-top troupe — Balletto del Teatro alla Scala from Italy!

From January 15 to 27, they staged 5 brilliant consecutive performances at the National Centre for the Performing Arts in Beijing, dancing legends with their toes: the passion and vitality of their flagship work Don Quixote, and the avant-garde agility of William Forsythe’s The Blake Works. Every jump and every spin hit the heart perfectly; their exquisite dancing skills and stunning stage presentation enchanted the entire audience, with applause and cheers echoing non-stop throughout the performances.
