From March 27th to Apri 1st, Budapest Festival Orchestra is going to begin its China tour! From March 27th to Apri 1st, Budapest Festival Orchestra is going to begin its China tour! It’s worth mentioning that the orchestra was founded by world-renowned conductor Ivan Fischer in 1983.
It’s been almost three years since Budapest Festival Orchestra gave its China tour last time. This time, the orchestra is to perform Prokofiev’s symphonies and suites as well as German classics, including Brahms and Mendelssohn’s works! Another highlight is that Z-Generation violinist Amira Abouzahra will be the soloist when performing Mendelssohn’s violin concerto during the Shanghai concert. The orchestra is going to visit National Centre for the Performing Arts in Beijing on the 28th and 29th while arriving at Shanghai Oriental Arts Centre on the 31st. Looking forward to seeing you!
