As Rudolf Buchbinder entered into his 70th year, “PHIDEON Classical Music Tour: Rudolf Buchbinder & Staatskapelle Dresden China Tour 2016”, fully sponsored by SAIC VOLKSWAGEN, started in Shanghai on April 24. This tour was the first time for Staatskapelle Dresden to appear in both metropolises and second tier cities of China. The orchestra continued northward and performed along the way in Suzhou, Jinan, Linyi and Tianjin, and finally reached Beijing on May 1 for their last concert in NCPA. The charisma of Rudolf Buchbinder and Staatskapelle Dresden was perfectly presented in the three Mozart piano concerti.
