Project Manager, Public Relation & Events, Beijing, Shanghai
  • Communication and relationship management with Chinese and Foreigner companies, government representation as well as foreign embassies and cultural institutes in China
  • Acquisition and independently management of events and projects
  • Building and maintaining relationships with local and international media
  • Write, edit and coordinate the production of communications including, but not limited to, newsletters, brochures, media advisories, and press releases;
  • Researching markets to identify opportunities for events/ new business proposals and presenting to potential new clients
  • Organization and management of events such as exhibitions and fairs, festivals, conferences, promotions and product launches, fundraising and social events:
    -
    working as part of an account team to develop client proposals and implement the PR activity;
    -
    researches data, creates ideas, writes copy, lays out artwork, contacts media representatives
    -
    producing detailed proposals for events (e.g. timelines, venues, suppliers, legal obligations, staffing and budgets);
    - selling sponsorship/stand/exhibition space to potential exhibitors/partners;
    - liaising on a daily basis with clients to ascertain their precise event requirements;
    -
    coordinating suppliers, handling client queries and troubleshooting
    -
    preparing regular client reports and attending client meetings;
    - coordinating staffing requirements and staff briefings;
    -
    prepare periodic reports for senior management regarding the PR program results and coordinates regular communications with other department
    -
    represent the company during community projects and at public, social, and business gatherings

General skills required

  • At least 3 years experiences in PR, marketing, communication or other related fields;
  • University degree in marketing, economic or communication, MBA preferred;
  • Excellent English both written and spoken (minimum CET-6 level), second foreign language a plus, oversea study/working experiences preferred;
  • Excellent communication and organization skills, strong leadership and ability of execution
  • Strong attention to detail, project management and multi-tasking skills
  • Creative thinker with attitude to think through and introduce new ideas.
  • Ability to work under pressure with limited supervision
  • Culture, or music industry experience preferred

Internship, Public Relation & Events for Beijing Office

Provide support and participate in:

  • Copywriting (press releases, speech, presentations)
  • Contact and build new partnership with suppliers
  • Customer relations management
  • Events organization and promotional activities support
  • Client/industry analysis and creation of databases
  • Support to proposal drafting & polishing

General skills required

  • University degree in a business related field
  • Native English speaker preferable
  • Fluency in Chinese (both written & oral)
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • Ability to work in a team

Assistant to GM/ Project Manager

Assistant tasks:

  • Take care of correspondence for the General Manager (independently and after the GM’s instruction) in English and German
  • Organize the GM’s business trips, incl. meeting arrangement, flight and hotel booking
  • Draft and layout presentation and texts in English and German for sponsoring and press
  • Translate documents from Chinese to English and German or from English to German
  • Responsibility for one of the company’s website, incl. regular updates, coordination with programmer and designer

Project management:

  • Project responsibility for selected outgoing projects, incl. tour coordination and management
  • Business development: contact potential partners for new projects (incoming and outgoing)
  • Liaise with promoters and concert halls abroad and with embassies and consulates in China
  • Help with contract negotiations, draft budgets and action plans
  • Coordinate between foreign and Chinese partners (concert halls, local promoters, and orchestra)
  • Obtain offers from instrument cargo, bus companies and hotels and negotiate prices
  • Supervise design work (program brochure, posters and advertisements, tour booklet, etc.)

Qualification:

  • Language skills: Native German and Excellent English (spoken and written) Chinese: able to communicate, understand daily conversations, good reading skills, simple writing
  • Willingness to commit for at least 3 years
  • Experience as assistant or in similar position
  • Computer literacy in Windows: Excellent knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint; Photoshop and Lotus Notes would be an advantage
  • Able to work independently and with attention to detail
