The three musicians founded the ensemble Trio NeuKlang (New Sound) in 1998 to produce a new sound that combines the known with the new and add excitement to it. For this purpose the Trio collaborates with considerable contemporary composers and also arranges pieces themselves.

For its musical work the Trio has been honoured with numerous awards such as the City of Berlin Music Interpretation Grant, the Brandenburg Chamber Music Award and the City of Moers Ensemble Prize.

In its two latest concert programs “lost in tango” and “Goodbye Astor” the Trio NeuKlang “tangoised” works of classical composers. For this concept it received excellent press reviews and commendation of the audience. With the two programs the Trio played numerous concerts at many festivals such as for example the International Ludwigsburg Castle Festival, the Brandenburg Summer Concert Series and Music Festival Schleswig-Holstein.
