Led by its chief conductor Jakub Hrůša, the Bamberg Symphony (BS) along with pianist Vilde Frang was present from October 25 to November 1 five Chinese cities performing at the Changsha Concert Hall, the Opera House of Shanghai Conservatory of Music, the Wuxi Grand Theatre, the Dalian People's Culture Club, and the National Centre for the Performing Arts, to showcase their subtle timbres in front of almost 10,000 spectators.

The tour marked the third cooperation between BS and Wu Promotion, previously made in 2013 and 2015. BS is a renowned orchestra, which has given over 7,000 concerts in more than 500 cities in 63 countries, receiving great ovations from the Chinese audiences in every single tour.
