From 14 to 21 May 2023, the French violinist Renaud Capuçon and pianist Guillaume Bellon successfully held their 2023 China Tour, performing at the Tianjin Grand Theatre, Wuhan Qintai Concert Hall, Guangzhou Xinghai Concert Hall, Shanghai Oriental Art Centre and the National Centre for the Performing Arts. The 8-day, 5-city tour presented every performance in an outstanding way. Renaud Capuçon and Guillaume Bellon featured three sets of programs, including works by Mozart, Beethoven, Richard Strauss, Brahms, Franck, Ravel and Debussy. The audiences in each city responded with the warmest applause and cheers, with long and thunderous ovations. The musicians felt the passion of Chinese music fans, and played three encores after every performance, adding four more in Shanghai and ending with a perfect completion with five encores at the final recital in Beijing.
