From October 30 to November 10, the Staatskapelle Dresden, with its remarkable 477-year history, successfully completed its 2025 China tour under the direction of Conductor Daniele Gatti, together with pianist Bruce Liu.

Returning to China after two years, the orchestra presented an impressive lineup of symphonic masterpieces, including Mahler’s Symphony No. 5, Richard Strauss’s Ein Heldenleben, and Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 23.

Over 12 days, the orchestra visited Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing, and Guangzhou, delivering seven concerts and participating in multiple outreach and exchange activities, offering Chinese audiences an immersive experience of world-class orchestral artistry.
