Photo Caption: Wu Promotion staff with the Fanfare Carabineers At the age of 82, Ennio Morricone joined Roma Sinfonietta Orchestra and China National Opera House for a well-received concert at World Expo 2010 Shanghai. Prior to the evening musical highlight, Italy's National Republic Day was celebrated by an afternoon concert and parade by Fanfare Carabineers. In the evening National Day concert with Ennio Morricone, the programme conducted by the maestro included three pieces from Sergio Leone’s westerns that started his worldwide fame: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly; Once Upon A Time in the West and A Fistful of Dynamite. As the official sponsor of the Italian Pavilion at World Expo 2010 Shanghai, Wu Promotion was delighted to organize the successful cooperation of Italian composer/conductor, Italian orchestra and Chinese choir. |
