From October 11th to 22nd, Dumky Trio successfully toured in China, giving excellent performances for classical music lovers in Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Dalian, Yueyang and Yichun. During this tour, they performed Beethoven's Trio n.4 opus 11, Shubert's Movement lent du Trio opus 100, Dvorak's Trio "Dumky" opus 90, Offenbach's Orphée aux enfers and Barcarolle and others. The Chinese audience was intoxicated by their elegant performances and the charming melodies they played with their instruments: piano, violin and cello.

Dumky Trio has a history of 24 years and won many international accolades. Influenced by the prestigious composer Dvorak, they named their trio after his work Trio "Dumky" opus 90. Wherever they play, they devote their works to a sincere interpretation of music.

On October 14th, FM 947, as part of their "Weekly Radio Concert" made a live broadcast of Dumky Trio, who performed at the Shanghai Concert Hall. One of the pieces they played was Offenbach's Barcarolle, a famous piece in the movies Titanic and Life Is Beautiful. Whether you were in the hall or in front of the radio, these beautiful melodies would remind you of the scenes as if you were a protagonist in the movie, experiencing the withered love stories. As a traditional piece sang by Venice's boatmen, when listening to this music, you might also imagine that you are sitting in Gondola floating through the channels of Venice.

In addition to western classic music, the Chinese encores of Dumky Trio were also special. They played the violin concerto Butterfly Romance, also called Liang Zhu which is a traditional Chinese folk song. But this brand new version of Liang Zhu performed by Dumky Trio provided a completely fresh interpretation of Chinese traditional music. In Beijing and Yueyang, the three musicians also performed Liuyang River during the encore. The familiar melodies won a thunderous applause from the audience.
